However, A&W is a special brand. It does not use this strategy. Marketer may think that is not good decision for selling, but it may be have two benefit on it.
1. Comfortable: consumers will feel comfortable about price. As I said before, the odd-even pricing is very popular. Therefore, consumers also realize about it. At this time, the original price will give very good brand image.
2. Convenience: Today cash is not popular anymore, but there still have some people prefer to use the cash. Additionally, odd-even pricing do not need give consumers coins. So, it is more convenience.
